Colin Duncan Exhibition at the Audalde Gallery

Colin Duncan is an Edinburgh based artist, born in Malta, with an MA in Fine Art awarded by the Winchester School of Art.  Colin already has over 30 exhibitions under his belt, so escape the winter blues and head along to the West End Audalde Gallery where two main genres of his work will be displayed – figure painting and carving images.

The Figure Paintings are from the “After the Sun” series painted in Barcelona, and showcase contrasting emotions and moods with images varying from the powerful to the vulnerable, the erotic to the passive, and the energetic to calm. The Carving Images are unique paintings depicting images Colin himself carved into stone when travelling through remote parts of the world.  Concealed in rivers and mountainous regions, the stones were carved with an image relating to the nature of the surrounding landscape.

The exhibition will run from two weeks from 2nd – 16th October, and will be well worth the visit.
